Pricing, surfaces, scale and where we work — the things people ask before they brief a wall. Still unsure? Ask the studio →
Every wall is different, so we quote each project on its own terms. Cost depends on scale, surface, design complexity, access and timeline. Send us photos, rough dimensions and a sense of what you want to achieve, and we'll come back with an honest, itemised quote. No templates, no guesswork.
Yes. We paint large-scale exterior murals and building façades, from single walls to multi-storey work — our Radisson Red façade in the V&A Waterfront ran eight storeys. We handle access, scaffolding and weather-grade materials so the wall lasts in the Cape weather.
Five things get us most of the way: the location, photos of the wall, rough dimensions, your deadline, and a short description of what you want to achieve. Artwork or brand references help. The more you send, the more accurately we can advise and price.
Yes. Every mural is painted by hand — no vinyl, no print, no shortcuts. Hand-painting belongs to the surface; it can't be peeled off or reprinted, and it adapts to irregular walls in a way print never will. For hand-painted signage and lettering, see our sister studio, Cape Town Signwriting.
Cape Town is home — Sea Point, the City Bowl, Woodstock, Camps Bay and across the Winelands. We work nationally in Johannesburg and Durban, and internationally: our murals are in restaurants and hotels across Dubai, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. We bring the studio with us.
It depends on scale and detail. A feature wall might take a few days; a multi-storey façade or a full hotel programme runs into weeks. We give you a clear timeline in the quote and work to it — being on time is part of the studio's code.
Painted plaster, brick, concrete, timber, tile, glass and steel — interior and exterior. We assess every surface before quoting and prepare it properly, because the surface decides how the work is primed, painted and protected. Tricky or historic surfaces are part of the job.
A well-prepared, properly sealed mural lasts for years — interior work indefinitely, exterior work for many seasons depending on exposure. We use hard-wearing, light-fast materials and can advise on protective coatings and the occasional refresh to keep colour true.
